Experience the magic of Magnetic Island on a 70 minute express jet ski tour departing from The Docks in Townsville, where you'll cruise across Cleveland Bay before tracing one side of Maggie's coastline. Your guide picks the route on the day based on wind and weather, so you might glide south past Picnic Bay, Nelly Bay, Geoffrey Bay and on to Arthur Bay with its granite headlands and fringing coral, or head north past Cockle Bay and West Point toward the calm waters of Rollingstone Bay.
Either way, you'll soak up sweeping island views, scan the water for sea turtles, dugongs, dolphins and seabirds, and even spot the wreck of the SS Adelaide as you go. Each jet ski carries two riders with the passenger riding free, so grab a friend or partner and share the fun. - Minimum driver age is 16 years
- Minimum passenger age is seven years
- Participants must understand English
- Participants must demonstrate an average level of fitness and confidence, and be able to tread water while wearing a life jacket
- Participants must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Maximum two riders per jet ski
- Maximum combined jet ski weight is 200kg including riders and luggage
- Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions before the tour begins
- A practical competency skill test is conducted before the tour commences
- Experience provider reserves the right to terminate the tour if a participant demonstrates unsafe behaviour or incompetence
- Experience provider reserves the right to change the itinerary or tour times due to weather or operational factors
- A valid driver's licence or photo ID is required for all drivers
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern; you will be contacted by the experience provider and rescheduled
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
