Amazing day out on this majestic boat
We have just got back from a wonderful days sailing on Lady Enid. The crew skippered by Aidan with Abe and Anne ably assisting were fantastic. Super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They put safety first with clear instructions but delivered in a very nice way. We were lucky enough to have a decent wind today so the sails were up there and back which really does help change the experience to a whole new level. The food was excellent quality throughout the day and it kept on coming. Thank you for a wonderful experience we’ll never forget.
Excellent day sail in a beautiful ketch
We had a wonderful day sail in the beautiful 90-year-old wooden ketch Enid, skilfully captained by Aran. Good hotel pick up. Plenty of food from the strawberry scones, extensive lunch, afternoon drinks and canapés. Sails up for the rapid passage to Hook Island. We chose not to take the slippery climb to the caves. Climbed into the ship’s dinghy to be taken to the snorkelling area and had wonderful views of the reef. Noodles and kit provided. Some agility is required to manoeuvre up around the boat and climb down into the dinghy. Good shade under the Bimini in the cockpit or sit on deck cushions. Excellent trip
What you can expect
Set sail on the elegant Lady Enid for a day of pure relaxation and discovery. Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your Airlie Beach accommodation, whisking you to Coral Sea Marina where the real journey begins. Once the sails are set, enjoy a delicious morning tea as you glide through the Whitsunday Islands. Your first stop is Hook Island, where a short but scenic bushwalk leads you to the Ngaro Cultural Site, rich with Aboriginal history.
Back on board, savour a gourmet lunch before snorkelling one of Hook Island’s stunning coral reefs, home to vibrant marine life. After your underwater adventure, indulge in a fresh fruit platter. As you sail back, relax with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and an antipasto platter. Transfers to and from your accommodation are included, making it a seamless day of luxury. This adults-only (18+) cruise is all about you and what you choose to do.

- All prices are per person in AUD and include GST, National Park and Great Barrier Reef Marine Park entry fees, professional skipper and host, all meals, use of snorkelling equipment and stinger suits.
- The supplier reserves the right to substitute vessels without notice at any time for any reason. All tours are subject to minimum numbers and the Operator reserves the right to cancel a tour if minimum numbers are not met.
- We recommend you take out travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss of personal goods and the inability to travel due to weather.
- Passengers should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard guests, we cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers that are beyond our control.
- All cruises are subject to weather and the vessel operator’s discretion. Please allow extra time to travel during the wet season (Dec-May) as we occasionally have road closures due to flooding.
- At certain times of the year, ‘dangerous’ jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the owner of the vessel will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death or any other consequences whatsoever of passengers being stung by jellyfish. To minimise this risk, you will be provided with a full-length protective ‘Stinger Suit’ to wear whilst swimming and snorkelling during the cruise. If you choose not to wear a stinger suit, this will be at your own risk.
- Accordingly, the supplier shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any injury to person or property which is suffered or sustained by any passenger as a result of participating in any of its water adventures, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Excellent day sailing on an iconic yacht.
The skipper on Lady Enid is a competent sailor who uses his sail power. On our return from snorkelling we made a steady 7/8 knots with no motor. There’s plenty of comfortable places to sit. There’s shade for those who need it. Nice lunch and plenty of it. Collection from accommodation efficient. I loved the peace provided by this mode of travel and would thoroughly recommend it to others.
A great day of fine food and sailing to Langford Island
Great day with excellent service. Very nice food, plenty of beers and wine available. We had a day of flat seas and no wind, great for snorkelling Not much sailing today, but we got the headsail up late in the day, and enjoyed a nice cheese platter and bubbly under sail. Highly recommended. Knowledgeable friendly crew made it a day to remember.

A delightful sailing experience. A great crew and delicious food and drink all day long. The snorkelling and bays where we stopped were exquisite. Sitting on the deck with a glass of bubbles with all sails unfurled while enjoying great weather, great company great food and drink was bliss.
