Ride your own Segway along the Whitsunday Bicentennial Boardwalk, overlooking the azure waters of Pioneer Bay. Your experienced guide will provide informative commentary and highlight local points of interest along this 8km round Segway tour.
Follow the water’s edge along the boardwalk from Airlie Beach, passing Coral Sea Marina and Shingley Beach, before feeling the ocean breeze on arrival at Cannonvale Beach.
Enjoy the ocean views from the boardwalk on the return journey, before relaxing with a delicious meal while soaking up the sunset views at one of Airlie Beach’s most popular waterfront dining locations, Sorrento Restaurant & Bar. The choice is then yours to stay longer for additonal drinks and food or continue your return Segway ride back to Airlie Beach.
For children between 7-11 years old, electric scooters are also available on our Segway Sunset and Boardwalk

We booked on to the Sunset Segway and Tapas tour whilst browsing for something to do around Airlie Beach. The tour was well run and the guide was very informative, providing interesting commentary along the way as well as stopping for breaks whenever we felt like we needed to (Segwaying is harder than you think!). After a thorough introduction to the Segway and one on one training we got on our way around Airlie and its marinas and beaches. We actually learnt a lot as well as taking in the stunning views of the marina and the beautiful sunset. On the way back we stopped at a lovely tapas bar where the food was absolutely delicious before returning back to the Main Street and returning our Segway. In all, the tour was well worth the money and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to see a bit more of Airlie.
