A Must-Do Sunset Sailing Experience
I had an amazing time on Paul’s sunset sailing trip. The boat itself is fantastic—smaller in size, which really lets you feel every movement and truly experience the sensation of sailing. It made the whole trip feel much more authentic and exciting. Paul is a great host and skipper. He’s not only knowledgeable but also very hands-on, giving you the opportunity to learn how to drive the boat yourself. That really made it a full, interactive experience rather than just a passive ride. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable sunset trip, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit more personal and adventurous!

This wasn’t just a sunset cruise, it felt like being invited onto a friend’s boat for one of those magical, once-in-a-lifetime evenings you wish you could bottle. Paul has that rare combination of total professionalism and effortless warmth. From the moment we met, everything felt relaxed, personal and completely unforced. The sailing itself was stunning - gliding across the ocean as the sky turned every shade of gold. Champagne in hand, delicious nibbles, ocean stretching endlessly around you… it’s exactly the kind of experience people imagine when they dream about sunset sail and it absolutely delivers. Paul doesn’t just run a tour he creates an experience. He shared stories, involved us in the sailing, and somehow struck that perfect balance of providing very Australiana experience. It’s intimate, authentic, and a world away from crowded, commercial cruises. Just pure sailing, incredible scenery, and a skipper who genuinely loves what he does. This ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip. If you want something special, memorable, and genuinely beautiful, this is it. Great sail!
Had such a great experience sailing with anchor yacht club! The skipper gave really clear instructions, made everyone feel comfortable, and explained things in a way that was easy to follow, even for beginners. We learned a lot throughout the race while still having an absolute blast. You can really tell they’re passionate about sailing and creating a fun experience for everyone on board. Highly recommend!
