Went today for the 2.5 hour ride with wine tasting. It was brilliant! The girls who led the trail were so friendly and the horses were so well behaved!
I was paired with Taz and she was a diamond, so sure footed and I felt completely safe on her, she had the best spirit and I loved her! My partner is a beginner and was teamed up with Jersey and he loved the experience too! The other participants in the group were friendly and the views were amazing! I will definitely be coming back but for a more experienced trail ride as I’d love to be able to do a little more! I just wish I’d gotten more photos of the horses! Thank you so much for the experience today! I had a smile on my face the whole way up and down the mountain! You really do have the Dream job and your horses are absolute stars!

Beautiful people and the wine and crackers at the hut was such a nice touch. I would definitely go back here again. The team are so lovely and so we're the horses. The big man Jersey (horse) such a sweet boy. Gave my Man from Snowy river vibes.
What you can expect
Explore the mountains above the Yarra Valley on a scenic 2.5-hour horse trail ride through Chum Creek. Accompanied by an experienced guide, ride through native bushland, climb winding mountain trails and take in spectacular views across the surrounding countryside.
Stop at a rustic mountain hut for tea and bikkies while soaking up panoramic valley views before continuing your ride. Keep an eye out for kangaroos, wombats, deer and eagles along the way, making this a fantastic outdoor adventure for beginner riders looking to experience the region's natural beauty.

- Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your start time.
- This experience is two hours and 30 minutes in duration.

- This experience is suitable for beginner riders
- Minimum age of 12 years; maximum weight of 95kg
- All rides are at the discretion of the Senior Trail Riding Guide
- Rides operate rain or shine; if the experience provider cancels a ride due to conditions, you will be offered a refund, credit or alternative date at no cost to you
- Rescheduling or cancelling a booking more than 14 days prior to the booking date will incur a $60 rescheduling fee per rider
- No changes permitted within 14 days of the experience start date
- Maximum of eight participants per tour
- Change your booking up to 14 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 14 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Rescheduling and cancellation fees apply

The scenery is so so beautiful. The staff are amazing and make you feel so comfortable! Our horses were soo gentle and great to ride for beginners. We would love to do this experience again!!! 😃
