Start your day with smiles all round on a magical one-hour hot air balloon flight at sunrise over the Yarra Valley. Your morning begins with an easy Melbourne city pick-up from Federation Square, so you can sit back and enjoy the ride. At the launch site, you can choose to help with the balloon setup or watch the excitement unfold as the sun rises and the balloon comes to life.
As the valley wakes, you gently float above rolling vineyards, winding rivers and patchwork farmland, with distant mountains glowing in the morning light. After landing, you enjoy a relaxed continental breakfast at Rochford Wines, soaking up the fresh country air before a scenic drive back to the city. It’s a joyful, fuss-free adventure that turns an ordinary morning into a memory you’ll treasure.

- Please meet approximately three hours prior to sunrise at Federation Square Bus & Coach Pickup Drop-off Zone for departure
- Please arrive 90 minutes before sunrise at Rochford Wines if driving directly
- Meeting times vary by season
- Exact time is confirmed the night before
- The flight duration is approximately one hour
- The duration of the full experience (including travel time, setup, pack-up, and breakfast) takes 7 to 7.5 hours
- This experience departs from Federation Square Bus & Coach Pickup Drop-off Zone, Russell Court, Melbourne, VIC 3000.
- Sturdy shoes (runners or hiking shoes). Avoid open-toed shoes and heels

- Minimum age is six years old
- Unfortunately, ballooning is not suitable for babies or children under the age of six due to safety regulations and the nature of the experience
- Children passengers must be tall enough (generally over 120cm)
- Passengers over 130kg need to contact the experience provider
- Spectators are welcome (must travel independently)
- Extreme weather may cause cancellation, the provider will reschedule
- For safety reasons, the provider is unable to fly passengers who are pregnant
- Please contact the experience provider to discuss accommodation requests
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
