What you can expect
Walk on top of one of Australia's most popular sporting stadiums - the Adelaide Oval! Upon arrival, you'll get kitted up into a climb suit and go through your safety briefing. Next you'll meet your climb leader and be strapped onto the structure!
Once you're on top, climb and walk along the purpose built walkways to discover unique views of the stadium itself, the picturesque coastline and the Adelaide Hills in the distance. It's the perfect way to discover the city skyline, and a real treat for any cricket fan!
Perched 50 metres above the hallowed turf, the Adelaide Oval RoofClimb offers adventurers 360 degree views of Adelaide and beyond.

- Climb times are seasonal and subject to change
- Please allow approximately 2 hours for your Roof Climb experience. Check-in is required a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your Climb time
- Adelaide Oval Roof Climb's start and finish at the Adelaide Oval's Western Stand. Briefing and debriefing's take place in the RoofClimb Centre, located in the South West corner on Level 1, Riverbank Stand
- The meeting point for this experience: War Memorial Dr, North Adelaide SA 5006.
- Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing on the day of the RoofClimb (t-shirt and shorts for summer, long sleeves and pants for winter). You will be provided with a special Roof Climb suit to put on over your clothes
- Wear comfortable, rubber soled shoes with sufficient grip. Running, hiking or sports shoes will be sufficient
- Due to an equipment supply delay, a temporary minimum height requirement of 155cm now applies for all RoofClimb experiences (previously 120cm).
- Participant maximum weight of 136kg
- Participants over the age of 75yrs must have a Medical Clearance Form signed by their doctor
- Participants must be a minimum of 8yrs of age at the time of the scheduled Roof Climb
- Children aged 8-15yrs must be accompanied by a supervising adult (1 adult per 3 children)
- Adult voucher valid for participants aged 15+
- Maximum weight 136kg
- Participant minimum height requirement is 120cm
- Participation conditions and restrictions apply:
- Climbers 75 years and over must complete a Medical Clearance form, signed by a qualified medical practitioner no earlier than 21 days prior to their scheduled departure
- Climbers less than 20 weeks pregnant are permitted to climb if they have had the Medical Clearance form signed by their medical practitioner
- Climbers who are 20 or more weeks pregnant are not permitted to participate
- Climbers with medical conditions may be required to provide a completed Medical Clearance form prior to their departure. Some medical conditions may prohibit participation
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- It is highly recommended to reconfirm your climb time at least 48 hours prior to the date of the activity
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on the day of the activity. Vouchers presented on a mobile device are also accepted
- For your information, complete Tour Operator Information including contact details are included on your tour voucher
- Availability was accurate at the time of booking however, is subject to change due to circumstances out of our control. We strongly suggest reconfirming your booking with the tour operator within 24 hours of making your booking and prior to making other travel arrangements
