What you can expect
Discover the Aboriginal art scene of Mparntwe Alice Springs on a guided three hour tour into four to eight art centres across town, home to more galleries per capita than anywhere else in the country. Your day starts with a relaxed briefing at a local cafe, where your guide sets the scene with the history of the movement and its lasting connection to Country and culture.
From there you will visit a mix of renowned spaces and off the beaten track studios, each stop timed in close collaboration with the centres so your visit is respectful and welcome. Along the way you can learn how the art supports artists and their communities, ask questions and buy directly from ethical sources with confidence. You are welcome to request particular centres when you book, and to grab a coffee as you go. It is a thoughtful, unhurried way to see a side of Alice Springs many visitors never reach.

- This experience is usually available on Fridays at 10am.
- This experience is approximately three hours in duration.
