Discover the sacred heart of the Red Centre on a half day guided Uluru tour that runs through to a glowing outback sunset. You will explore the base of Uluru on the Mala Walk, following the north west face where ancient Anangu rock art tells stories passed down through generations. Your guide shares the traditions of the Pitjantjatjara people as you make your way to the Mutitjulu Waterhole, home of the ancestral water snake Wanampi.
A visit to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre, built from 90,000 mud bricks with the help of the local Anangu people, brings the region's living culture into focus. As the light softens, settle in for the moment so many visitors come to Uluru for, a breathtaking sunset paired with a glass of sparkling wine and a relaxed Aussie BBQ dinner. - There is no upper age limit, however some sections of the tour can be physically demanding
- The longest walk is up to one hour at a relaxed pace
- The tour operates with a maximum of 52 participants
- Central Australia can experience extreme weather conditions during summer
- Smoking is not permitted on the vehicle at any time
- Any damage to the vehicle is at the cost of the participant responsible
- No changes can be made to the itinerary once the tour has departed
