What you can expect
Soar over the outback on a one hour scenic flight from Ayers Rock, taking in the landmarks of the Northern Territory from the best seat in the house. Your morning begins with a complimentary van transfer from your Ayers Rock Resort accommodation to the airport, where you will meet your pilot before climbing aboard.
Once airborne, you will glide over the 36 rock domes of Kata Tjuta, which rise 546 metres above the plains and hide much of their detail from anyone on the ground. From there the flight banks towards Uluru, the great red heart of the continent, before tracing the shoreline of Lake Amadeus, a vast salt lake stretching 180km across the desert. Every passenger gets a window seat, and your pilot shares commentary on the geology and stories of the region as you fly. It is an easy, comfortable and truly memorable way to take in three of Central Australia's most extraordinary natural sights in a single hour.

- The scenic flight is one hour in duration, with approximately two hours to allow from pick up to drop off.
- This experience includes complimentary return van transfers from your Ayers Rock Resort accommodation, with pickups from Sails in the Desert Hotel, Desert Gardens Hotel, Outback Hotel and Lodge, and Ayers Rock Campground, and the flight departs from Ayers Rock Connellan Airport, NT.
- This experience is not wheelchair accessible
- Participants must be able to enter and exit the aircraft without assistance from the experience provider, including in the event of an emergency
- A minimum of 2 participants is required for the flight to operate
- The aircraft carries a maximum of 7 participants and seating is subject to weight and balance limits
