We had a very enjoyable afternoon cruise
We had a very enjoyable afternoon cruise. The crew were pleasant and the commentary was good. There is a basic menu available on board if you are peckish which we also enjoyed. This is a good value short cruise that we would recommend if you have a couple of hours spare.
1.5 hours of morning pleasure learning the history of Brisbane.
This is a good priced, enjoyable cruise. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It was a good length and the morning tea was spot on. The captain pointed out places of interest along the journey and this helped better understand the history of Brisbane. It was great to see places in person what you have seen on tv. It was mind-blowing to see the level of the 2011 flood.
What you can expect
Cruise along the Brisbane River to take in sights of the beautiful Brisbane region from on board the MV Neptune where you’ll spend the afternoon learning about the region from an on board commentator. A great afternoon on the water for both locals and tourists, River City Cruises is one of Brisbane’s best and the original sightseeing cruises on the Brisbane River.
For the duration of the cruise you’ll be taken past some of Brisbane’s most iconic locations and sights such as the picturesque Kangaroo Point, the towering CBD and the Story Bridge. This guided tour runs for 1.5 hours and in that time you can take advantage of the many photo opportunities and grab a refreshment from the on board coffee shop and licensed bar. Guests will also receive a complimentary souvenir map that includes discount vouchers for various experiences and attractions around the city.
The cruise departs 12:30pm daily and returns at 2-m, ensuring the best part of the day is spent in the best way possible; aboard a scenic sightseeing cruise.

Nice river cruise, easy to find dock and good length.
The cruise was very nice, staff were friendly, the commentary on board was good content. The length of the cruise was good as well, had a nice long time on board. The boarding point was easy enough to find and boarding process was quick and easy. All in all a good experience.

Husband bored at home after a major operation so thought that this would be good way to spend the day.
Really enjoyed it a lot of information great way to spend a Sunday. Also nice surprise when purchasing tickets received a discount. Would highly recommend it to friends or relatives on holiday great way get to know a bit about Brisbane great work to all involved.

Absolutely fantastic. We had a great time on the cruise and would definitely do it again.
We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children and we loved The Brisbane River Midday Sightseeing Cruise. It was great value for money, the kids loved it and there was a great selection of snacks and drinks on there. The staff were all very friendly. We would definitely go on the cruise again.
