Your day starts with a scenic boat transfer from Brisbane, including a tea, coffee, or a soft drink as you get ready for island time. Once you arrive, you’ll have full access to the Tangalooma Island Resort’s facilities, including pools, bars, and restaurants, with a complimentary lunch voucher. The adventure begins aboard a 4WD desert safari going to the island’s famous sand dunes, where you get to toboggan down the slopes.
Next, a 12-minute scenic helicopter flight awaits, soaring above the island’s turquoise waters, sandy beaches, and lush landscapes for a view like no other. Back at the resort, there’s time to relax and sip on a refreshing cocktail or mocktail, while enjoying the tropical surroundings. As the sun begins to set, you get the chance to witness wild dolphin feeding from the jetty, before returning back to the mainland. This tour is the ultimate way to experience Moreton Island in style.

- Some activities may be physically demanding and could pose health or safety risks
- Helicopter tours require a minimum of two passengers; weight and age restrictions apply
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
- Sunset Cocktail/Mocktail vouchers are valid at Wheelhouse Deck and B&B’s Bar only; one cocktail (18+) or one mocktail/soft drink/water (under 18)
- Participants must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or disabilities (including pregnancy, epilepsy, asthma, or cardiovascular issues) prior to booking
- Moderate fitness is required for sand dune climbs; in wet weather, the Desert Safari will operate as a sightseeing tour to the Tangalooma Wrecks (sand tobogganing unavailable)
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
