As a family of 5, we decided this would be a better option than a full day reef tour as there is beach access, island activities and only a short boat ride from Cairns. The glass bottom boat tour allowed us to see lots of coral reef and plenty of sea life. Plenty of good food options on the island and excellent beaches for snorkelling and swimming.

Experience of a lifetime on Green Island
We had an amazing day on Green Island. Catamaran boat of 45 minutes was opportunity for staff to personally speak to us about our trip, give advice, etc. The lunch inclusion in Emeralds restaurant was convenient, tasty and had good portion size with one drink included. Green island didn’t disappoint. My children were first time snorkellers and we saw a huge diversity of exotic fish straight off the beach. Memorable experience we’ll never forget.
