Captain your own boat and explore the waterways in search of the best picnic spot on the Gold Coast for you and your friends. With no boat licence required, these electric boats are easy and fun to drive, with no noise and no fumes.
Cruising from the Isle of Capri, you’ll have the freedom to explore the Gold Coast canals at your leisure, armed with a map and a few recommendations from our staff. All you need to do is gather your crew and pack a picnic for an extraordinary morning or afternoon on the water.

- $200 hire bond for security (released at end of booking following correct protocol)
- Souvenir Captain’s Hat and Stubby Coolers available to purchase onsite

- Boats depart exactly at the scheduled time and return after two hours

- Please be ready 15 minutes prior to departure
- Enter the shopping mall and head towards the outdoor seating area for Edgewater Dining. There, you will find our kiosk
- A security bond of $200 is required. This will be taken as a pre-authorisation from a valid debit card and will be cancelled once the boat is returned without damage. Alternatively, if you choose to use a credit card, the pre-authorisation amount will be $1
- The nominated skipper must be 18 years of age or older
- A form of photo ID must be provided, preferably belonging to the individual who made the booking
- Guests may consume up to two alcoholic beverages per person, but the skipper must maintain a 0.00 BAC
- Fishing is not permitted on our boats
- Guests are not permitted to dock the boat at another location; they must remain on the water for the duration of their booking
- Change your booking up to 72 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 72 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at the time of booking
- Mobile vouchers are accepted
- For your information, complete tour operator details, including contact information, are provided on your tour voucher
- Availability was accurate at the time of booking; however, it is subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control
- We strongly recommend reconfirming your booking with the tour operator within 24 hours of booking and before making other travel arrangements

What a great experience.
What a great experience. We booked for three hours and were worried that might be too long but instead enjoyed every minute picnicking out on the water under the shade of the canopy. Krystal was clear with our instructions and how to operate the boat and the location app made navigating a breeze. Being dog friendly meant we could bring our little poodle who had as much fun as we did. Highly recommend doing this while on the coast.

We had the BEST experience. Fillipe was an absolutely excellent host and went above and beyond to make our day memorable. Highly recommend but make sure you take the upgrade package. The esky, speaker, cushions and faster boat were Deff worth the $$.

We spent a wonderful relaxing 1 1/2 hours on the river. Very professional company, boats are well maintained. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. My father left his mobile phone on the boat, and Steve kindly contacted us to return it. Great service. Would recommend GoBoat for sure
