Time
  • The hot air balloon flight is 40-65 minutes in duration, depending on the winds of the day
  • The hot air ballooning Gold Coast experience including breakfast will conclude between 9.45 am and 10.30 am
  • 3.50 am and 4.30 am - Pick-up is available from accommodation in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Main Beach, and Southport or you can meet at Nerang or Canungra
  • Whale watch experience can take place on a different date if you wish
  • Whale watch season runs from June to October

  • Pick up is available from accommodation in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Main Beach, Southport between 3.50am and 4.30am, or you can meet at Nerang or Canungra
What To Bring
  • It is recommended that you wear long pants and closed in shoes - no heels, slippers or skirts please
  • Bring a jacket as it gets quite cool as the sun rises and please avoid white clothes
  • Carry hats and sunglasses, and a fully charged camera for taking pictures
  • If your flight time is from April to October (in winter), you need to wear warm clothes to prevent the cold; in other months, there will be warm airflow due to the burning of hot air balloons, so you do not need to wear warm clothes
  • Whale Watching - 100% Whale Watching Guarantee between June – 25 October or enjoy a complimentary return cruise
Additional Information
  • For Hot Air Balloon and Whale Watching - All bookings are weather dependent, and in the case of bad weather your booking will be rescheduled
  • Whale watching experience can be booked for same day or different day
  • Children under 3 years old cannot participate.
  • Children 3 - 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children aged 13-17 years old can travel on the balloon flight by themselves, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of the tour
  • You must be able to climb up the 1.2 meter foothold ladder into the hot air balloon basket without assistance.
  • You must be able to stand for the duration of the flight
Terms And Conditions
  • Pregnant women and those who participated in diving the previous day are not suited to this activity
  • Passengers with medical conditions or that have accessibility issues, please check with your doctor or specialist prior to booking.
  • At no time will a passenger be allowed to fly if their judgment is impaired by alcohol, drugs, or prescription medicine
  • Due to weight and safety restrictions, handbags and backpacks may not be carried on the hot air balloon. Please do not bring large bags
  • Unless the camera fails, digital photos will be provided every flight. If the camera fails, no compensation or refund will be given
  • Please note that the timings might be adjusted due to seasonal changes, and the specific schedule is subject to the reservation confirmation you received
Cancellation Policy
  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
