Get ready to hit the waves and learn to surf like a pro during a two-hour group surfing lesson at Coolangatta on the Gold Coast. Surf lessons are carried out on the beach first with a lesson in surf safety, ocean awareness and the correct techniques to paddle and stand up on your surfboard. Next, you'll enter waist deep water with professional surf instructors to put your new skills to the test. Group surf lessons are kept small in order to provide you with personalised instructions to help you ride your first wave.   • This activity is not normally suitable for physically disabled customers because it requires a level of balance, but it may be suitable if a carer can paddle with them together on a large board
