Get ready to hit the waves and learn to surf like a pro during a two-hour group surfing lesson at Coolangatta on the Gold Coast. Surf lessons are carried out on the beach first with a lesson in surf safety, ocean awareness and the correct techniques to paddle and stand up on your surfboard.
Next, you'll enter waist deep water with professional surf instructors to put your new skills to the test. Group surf lessons are kept small in order to provide you with personalised instructions to help you ride your first wave. - Surf lessons are held every day at 10am and 1pm
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of your lesson
- Please allow approximately 2 hours per session for this experience

- Toilets and showers are located nearby so you can wash off the salt and sand after the surf lesson
- This experience usually runs in most weather conditions, even if it is raining. Lessons are only cancelled if there are dangerous conditions like very strong winds or lightning
- This activity is not normally suitable for physically disabled customers because it requires a level of balance, but it may be suitable if a carer can paddle with them together on a large board
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience

The surfing course is excellent
The surfing course is excellent. Coaches are patient and skillful. Taught us from beginning even though we were late. And helped me stand on the surf board a few times. Equipments are cool and suitable. It will be better if there is any remind for us to bring some waters, as surfing requires much energy. I'll try the course again when back to Melbourne. Awesome!
