Hiring a boat from Theo was our greatest highlight of our trip to Great Keppel Island.
The boat was clean, well-equipped, and easy to use. His safety briefing was thorough and made us feel confident out on the water. What could have been a day with lots of walking instead turned into an amazing day on the water, dropping in for a snorkel at different spots. We saw a beautiful sea turtle up close from our boat! We ventured across to Middle Island and had the beach to ourself! Our boat was safe, clean and super cute - we nicknamed her Dory :-) Theo was friendly and professional ensuring we were safe, the environment was looked after and we had the best time!

- Available seven days a week at 9am, 11.30am and 2pm.
- This experience is two hours in duration.
- Please meet at Fisherman's Beach, Great Keppel Island, The Keppels, QLD 4700. Walk right along the beach after disembarking the ferry and look for the blue catamaran shelter. The brightly coloured hire boats will be waiting on the sand ready for your adventure.

- No boat license is required
- A $500 refundable security deposit is collected on the day
- A safety briefing is mandatory
- Boats must remain within designated operating areas as shown on the map provided
- Restricted areas must be avoided at all times
- No alcohol or drugs while operating
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
- Boats must be returned to the beach at the agreed time to allow for safety checks and preparation for the next hire
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction

Just perfect! Got to the island with no plans apart from to have a great time, and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more.
We picked up our boat from Theo at short notice and he was so helpful showing us how everything worked and making sure we were ready to set off for the day. The boat was easy to run, and got us around everywhere we wanted to go, and were able to snorkel and fish at a bunch of different spots and see the incredible sea life. Highly recommend!
We got to snorkel with a massive turtle on the reef out from Monkey Beach!
