Explore the wonderful world of winemaking in this full-day guided tour through the Coal Valley region in Tasmania's south-east coast. The highlight of the experience is a two-course lunch at the premium Frogmore Creek vineyard. You will be served a main and dessert course made from seasonal products and paired with a glass of wine. Not far away from Hobart, just past the Tasman Bridge, you will enter the stunning region where some of the best cool-climate wines have been made. In this tour you get to visit four different vineyards, possibly being Pooley Wines, Coal Valley Vineyard, Everyman and His Dog, Frogmore Creek Wines, Nocton Vineyard or Riversdale Estate.
Enter each cellar door and learn about the modern techniques of cultivating and storing wine to preserve quality and taste. Find your new favourite wine through the many tastings and appreciate the delicious local cheese selection. A chocolate and wine pairing will delight your senses in a completely new way. This experience is perfect for wine lovers and promises to delight every sense, leaving you with lasting memories.
