Turn simple milk into something special in a private, hands-on cheesemaking class for two. Held at Ewenique Tasting House in Tasmania's Birchs Bay, a short drive south of Hobart. Heat, stir, stretch and shape your own silky ricotta and stretchy mozzarella from scratch, picking up the simple techniques behind both cheeses as you go. With the whole session booked just for you, there's plenty of time to ask questions and enjoy the process at your own pace.
Your host shares favourite ways to serve each cheese, from mozzarella torn warm over ripe tomatoes to ricotta whipped into something special. Enjoy a hands-on class that blends cheesemaking know-how, local flavour and Birchs Bay charm into a memorable Tasmanian afternoon.

- All fresh ingredients and cheesemaking equipment
- This experience is approximately one hour in duration
- Participants are welcome to stay on after for a coffee
- This experience takes place at The Ewenique Tasting House, 59 Devlyns Rd, Birchs Bay, TAS 7162.
- Casual, comfortable attire.
- Please note that cow's milk is used in this experience
- Minimum age of 12 years; welcome at an adult rate
- Participant changes permitted

- Maximum group size is six, with larger group numbers accommodated with prior arrangement only
- Spectators are welcome with coffee and other drinks, plus food, available for purchase on site
