What you can expect
Explore the stunning forests of the Huon Valley in South Tasmania above ground in a Tahune Air Walk. Towering above both trees and rivers, be amazed by the tranquil forest walk 30-metres into the air and enjoy views spreading right across the valley. You will be truly mesmerised by the final section, with a cantilever sitting 48 metres above the river offering some of the best views you will ever see! This 619-metre walking track is the perfect way to relax and calm the soul in a peaceful and undisturbed environment.
Located just a short 90-minutes from Hobart, the Huon Valley also boasts three other forest walks and onsite BBQ areas, making this the perfect location for an adventure filled day out!
The Tahune AirWalk is open to explore daily from 9am to 5pm between October and March and from 10am to 4pm April to September. Guests are advised to allow around 50 minutes to explore and make the most of your AirWalk experience.

- Please note the Eagle Hang Glider is currently unavailable until further notice and the AirWalk is only operating on Saturday and Sunday
- General admission to Tahune AirWalk

- Transport to Tahune AirWalk, approximately a 90 minute drive from Hobart
- AirWalk is currently operating on Saturday and Sunday only from 9am to 5pm (October to March) and 10am to 4pm (April to September)
- Closed Christmas Day and during hazardous weather
- It is recommended to allow around 50 minutes to make the most our of your AirWalk experience
- Tahune AirWalk is located just a 90 minutes drive south of Hobart, in the picturesque Huon Valley
- Basic fitness required to complete the total length of the AirWalk (619 metres)
- Disabled access available to those who need it
- Dogs welcome on a lead
- Comfortable clothing recommended
- Recommended to allow 50 minutes for a round trip
- Enclosed footwear recommended
