Beautiful journey on Katherine Gorge

It was so lovely learning about Nitmiluk National Park and the Katherine Gorge. It was lovely hearing the history, learning about the volume of water in the wet season and seeing the beautiful views along the gorge for the boat.

Very informative guide tour & amazing view

Visiting Nitmiluk gorge on boat tour is one of our highlights in this region.

What you can expect

Transform your evening on the Nabilil Dreaming Sunset Tour and Dinner Cruise which features stunning views, fascinating cultural experiences, and delicious food in Nitmiluk Gorge. Your journey begins with a guided tour through the first two gorges of Nitmiluk where you’ll have the chance to see ancient Jawoyn rock art dating back 8,000-10,000 years. Throughout the tour, immerse yourself in the rich cultural stories and history of the region, while also learning about the local plants and animals.

After this amazing excursion, return to the first gorge where a three-course meal awaits you on the dinner vessel. Enjoy fresh, locally sourced Australian cuisine prepared onboard by skilled chefs, paired with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. As you dine, relax and take in breathtaking views of the gorge’s ochre-coloured faces, illuminated by the setting sun. This candlelit fine dining experience against the backdrop of Nitmiluk’s natural beauty is perfect for group celebrations, romantic getaways or anyone who loves great food and dazzling scenery.
