At Cape Hillsborough Hillsborough Beach, the most enchanting time to observe wallabies and kangaroos frolicking on the beach is at sunrise when they hop on by for a bit of brekky. Getting up early is worth it for a close encounter with these iconic Aussie marsupials.
The journey begins at dawn with a drive to the National Park arriving just as the sun begins to rise. For added comfort, a 23-seater air-conditioned bus is provided, ensuring a cozy adventure in an intimate small-group setting. This vehicle will transport guests to explore the Cape Hillsborough National Park, a unique convergence of lush rainforest and the pristine sea.
This tour offers the rare opportunity to witness wallabies and kangaroos feasting on mangrove seed pods carried in by the tide. Ample time is provided for strolling along the shoreline, soaking in the breathtaking beauty of the sunrise and a picnic breakfast after your time with the marsupials. - Tour start time is dependent on the time of year and when the sunrise occurs. In winter, the sunrise occurs later than in summer.
