What you can expect
Get hands-on with the sights, smells and flavours of authentic American BBQ during this immersive four-hour smoking class in Rowville, Melbourne. Led by award-winning pitmaster Ross Walker, you'll learn the techniques behind great low-and-slow cooking, from fire management and temperature control to seasoning, smoking and resting meats for maximum flavour.
Working across a range of popular smokers, you'll gain practical skills you can confidently recreate at home while enjoying a feast of barbecue favourites including Wagyu brisket, sticky pork belly, smoked chicken wings and reverse-seared Wagyu steaks. Whether you're a complete beginner or a passionate backyard cook, this experience delivers the knowledge, confidence and inspiration to level up your next barbie.

- This experience is four hours in duration.
- Park in the main car park just off Wellington Rd and head inside the main entrance and up the stairs to the right, where you will find the Graziers Grill House. If you go in the entrance with a bar just inside, you're in the wrong place; that's the Sports Bar. Class is on the opposite side of the venue. Ask a friendly staff member for directions.
