What you can expect

Your adventure begins with a safety briefing followed by a scenic plane ride to altitude. As the excitement builds, your expert instructor will prepare you for the countdown and together you'll make the ultimate jump from over 15,000 feet over the beach. Experience sensational views of the city, Blacksmith Beach and Lake Macquarie as you plummet to the ground for 60 heart-stopping seconds, before the parachute is deployed and you float peacefully under canopy for up to seven minutes.

Time
  • Skydives operate daily from 8am. Allow approximately 4 hours for your total skydive experience
  • Transfers from Sydney are available Monday to Friday at 6.50am for a 7am pick up
Location
  • If you are self driving, please meet at the drop zone check-in office, located at Belmont Airport, 864 Pacific Hwy, Marks Point, approximately a 90 minute drive from Sydney and 30 minute drive from Newcastle
  • Transfers are available from Sydney CBD Monday to Friday 6.50am for 7am departure. Transfers must be arranged direct with the supplier after booking. Pick up point is at the bus stop in front of 806 George St, Sydney. Please arrive at the requested time for the scheduled pickup time. Passengers will need to allow the entire day as all passengers on the transfer must jump before the bus returns. We will provide an estimated time of departure when confirming your booking.
Additional Information
  • You must be 16 years of age or older to skydive
  • There is no maximum age limit, however reasonable fitness is required
  • Where possible, please notify us prior to the jump date of any existing medical conditions or illness. Medical conditions which could affect the customer’s safety should be discussed with a doctor to ensure customers are fit to skydive. Please advise if you are taking prescription medication
  • If you are over 110kg, you will be subject to tandem master assessment. Surcharges apply to participants 94kg and over (see below for weight surcharges)
  • Maximum weight 120kg
  • All jumps are subject to change due to weather conditions
  • 94kg - 104.9kg: $50 to pay on arrival (94kg and above requires an on site assessment to determine safety issues due to harness size restrictions)
  • 105kg to 114.9kg: $75 to pay on arrival
  • 115kg and above: $100 to pay on arrival
Terms And Conditions
  • Risk Warning: Your participation in parachuting activities is inherently dangerous and may involve risks. These risks include, but are not limited to those arising from prevailing conditions such as weather or health conditions you may have. Despite careful packing, the parachute may open abruptly or not open correctly which may result in injury. Unintended incidents may occur during the aircraft flight, descent or on landing.
  • Parachuting is done at the parachutists' own risk. Any person parachuting, training to parachute, flying in any aircraft being used for parachuting or participating in any activity carried out by Skydive Australia may only do so on the distinct understanding that they do so entirely at their own risk.
Booking Information
  • It is highly recommended to reconfirm your skydive time and pick up time and location at least 48 hours prior to the date of the activity
  • Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
  • Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on the day of the activity. Vouchers presented on a mobile device are also accepted
