The perfect ride for those after relaxed short ride, on a time frame, or have never ridden a horse before. This 1 hour trail combines the beauty of our farm and surrounding areas. Situated between the Rees and Dart Rivers, you’ll immerse yourself in the beauty that is Glenorchy, riding through glacial waters, wild flowers and be surrounded by our world famous snow capped mountains famously showcased in some of Hollywood’s biggest fantasy and action blockbusters.

What you need to know

__ALL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14 YEARS OLD AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.__ __TRACK AND RIVER CONDITIONS:__ Weather in the high country can be extremely changeable and therefore cause river and track conditions to become dangerous to ride across or to ride at a faster pace. Therefore it is imperative each rider adheres to the direction of our qualified guide during the trek. While every effort is made to accommodate the intermediate and experienced rider's wishes we must consider yours and our horse's safety first.

Please check in 15 minutes before departure

Long trousers, suitable sturdy footwear, sunglasses, sunscreen.
During winter please bring warm layers including socks, gloves, scarf

Self drive required (Queenstown is 45 minutes from Glenorchy)
Minimum age is 7 years old for the Rees River Trial
Minimum age is 8 years old for the Rees River Pro
All children 14 years old and under MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Wear sturdy footwear (toes enclosed). Gym shoes are fine
Bring your camera, sunglasses & water
Maximum weight limit of 95kgs
If incorrect weight is listed and you are unable to ride on the day, you will not be entitled to a refund

All booking cancellations 7 days prior to your trek date will be refunded in full.
50% of the booking cost will be refunded between 7 days and 24 hours before your trek date.
No refund is available within 24 hours of your departure date unless exceptional circumstances arise.
If incorrect weight is listed and you are unable to ride on the day, you will not be entitled to a refund
