- Pregnant women should consult with their healthcare provider before participating in geothermal activities.
- Drink plenty of water before and after visiting the sulphur spas and mud baths to stay hydrated, as the heat can cause fluid loss.
- People with sensitive skin or certain skin conditions should test a small area before entering the mud pools, as geothermal minerals may cause irritation.
- Remove all jewelry, especially silver, which can be tarnished by the sulphur. Contact lenses may become uncomfortable due to steam.
