Visit the petting zoo in Lake Tekapo and indulge in an unforgettable experience of feeding and interacting with adorable farm animals. With every entry, food is provided for you to hand-feed the animals and capture memorable photos with them. Meet a variety of cute animals including Merino sheep, KuneKune pigs, alpacas, and calves. Join our guided tour to learn about the habits of each animal and gain insights into how to take care of them. Experience intimate interaction and create lasting memories as you snap photos with your new furry friends.

What you need to know
- Guided tour of the petting zoo
- Complimentary bag of animal feed (additional feed can be purchased for $10 per bag)
- No pickup / Dropoff
- Animal feeding is done at 9 am, 2 pm and 5 pm
- This experience has a duration of approximately 60 minutes
- This experience is located at 48 Darchiac Drive, Lake Tekapo 7999, New Zealand
- The admission price include a complimentary bag of animal feed and additional feed can be purchased for $10 per bag
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times whilst interacting with our animals
- Please don't run near to, or chase our animals
- Dogs are not allowed in, or near our petting zoo. They are allowed in the car park but must be on a lead at all times
- Please don't shout at our animals. If noise levels are kept low it ensure a better environment for guests and our furry friends
- Drones are banned in Lake Tekapo due to our local airport. They also scare our animals so please do not use them
- Strictly no smoking or vaping
- No outside food
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! - Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
