- Departures times vary throughout the year due to changing sunset times
- In most times of the year tours may start anytime between 6:30pm and midnight
- In summer months tours usually start anytime from 10pm and midnight, finishing as late as 2am
- Please allow approximately 1.5 hours for the whole experience
- Tours depart from Lake Tekapo Information Centre ( Kiwi Treasure, 12 Rapuwai Lane, Tekapo)
- Please note stargazing tours can run into the next morning (i.e. after 12am / midnight)
- Tour photos are weather dependent and will be provided via a digital link after the tour
- Maximum of 10 people per tour
- Please wear sturdy footwear & warm clothes (temperatures can get low at night, even in the summer)
- Stargazing is subject to weather conditions
- Please Note: Some Stargazing Tours Depart After Midnight, make sure that you are selecting the correct date for your booking. For example: 01.15am on the 4th December will depart in the morning on the 4th December. It is NOT for the evening of the 4th December
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
