What you can expect
Step inside Adelaide's National Wine Centre for a 90 minute guided experience for two that pairs a hosted tour with an Indigenous wine and canapé tasting. You'll begin with a sommelier led walk through the Australian Wine Story, getting to know the diverse characteristics of Australia's 65 wine regions and the passionate people behind them. It's a fascinating look at the history and personalities that shape Australian wine, and the ideal way to set the scene for what comes next.
After the tour, settle in for the tasting, where flavours from First Nations culture take the spotlight. Sample three wines from Indigenous producers, each matched with a canapé made from local Indigenous ingredients that highlight the strong connection Aboriginal people hold with Country. Set right beside Adelaide's Botanic Garden, it's an easy and rewarding afternoon out for anyone who loves good wine and a great story.
