Epic half day rafting adventure - great way to spend and afternoon!
This half day rafting trip was a perfect way to spend the afternoon! The team was well organised, friendly and knowledgeable. Harry was our guide and made the trip so much fun. It was just a short bus ride to the out in point and it was straight into rapids. A short paddle at the end and we managed to spot a little fresh water croc along the way! Huge thanks to everyone and we would highly recommend to anyone wanting a taste of rafting in FNQ!
A fantastic couple of hours experiencing the white waters of the Baron River.
The tour was well set up considering there were something like 13 boats on the day we went. Although the Baron river is a grade 3, it's obviously dependant on how much rain there has been, would recommend taking this into account. On our run, the river was fairly low, but it was still great fun. Marco, our guide was friendly and experienced and obviously loves what he does. Would recommend to anyone, taking into account convenience of location to Cairns area.

- Tour departs Port Douglas approximately 13:45PM and returns approximately 19:00PM
- Self-Drive meet at 15:00PM and return approximately 17:30PM
- Self-Drive - Meet at Lake Placid Carpark, 101 Lake Placid Road at 15:00PM
- Port Douglas - Select accommodation in Port Douglas approximately 13:45PM
- Swimwear
- Towel and a spare change of clothes
- Sunscreen
- Suitable footwear - required to have a secure heel strap
- Cash/money for river levy and any additional extras
- Please note that some medical conditions, disabilities and impairments may exclude participants from rafting for safety reasons, e.g. serious vision impairments. Passengers should disclose any medical condition, disabilities and impairments at time of booking
- Rafting is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant
- Every participant must sign a Liability Release Form prior to commencing rafting tours
- Passengers under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian to sign the Liability Release Form on their behalf
- Minimum age: 12 years for Barron River Rafting
- River Levy $35 per person - payable on the day of travel
- 50% cancellation fee applies within 48 hours of departure
- 100% cancellation fee within 24 hours of departure
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience

Loved it would be an understatement We had a fun time
The most incredible tour Everything from safety to FUN was thought through Highly recommend If you bring your teenage kids with you, they will love it. My husband and I convinced our 14 year old son to come! He loved the thrill and loved the guide and the entire experience Will do it again
