What you can expect
This tandem skydive gives you a jump from up to fifteen thousand feet directly over Cairns. You will freefall for up to sixty seconds at speeds above two hundred kilometres per hour. You jump with the only operator based in Cairns, which means no long travel times and direct access to views of the city and the Great Barrier Reef. The product includes Australia’s only sunrise skydiving option, giving you a clear view of the coastline as the day begins. All safety equipment is provided. You will receive a safety briefing and a personalised certificate at the end of the jump. Personal Accident Insurance from the Australian Parachute Federation is included. Daily local transfers are available from selected accommodation. Guests who self drive check in at the drop zone office on Spence Street in Cairns.

- Skydives operate daily at regular intervals from 5.30am. Allow approximately 4 hours for your total skydive experience. Upon completion of purchase, the activity provider MUST be contacted to confirm the exact skydive time and pick up time (complete local activity providers details are included on your tour confirmation voucher)

Additional Information
- You must be 16 years of age or older to skydive
- Free transfers are available from selected Cairns accommodation (bookings are essential)
- There is no maximum age limit, however reasonable fitness is required
- Surcharges apply to participants 94kg and over (see below for weight surcharges)
- Maximum weight for this dropzone is 110kg
- All jumps are subject to change due to weather conditions
- PLEASE NOTE: All weight, photo and video extras are to be paid directly with the activity provider
- Where possible, please notify the experience provider prior to the jump date of any existing medical conditions or illness. Medical conditions which could affect the customer’s safety should be discussed with a doctor to ensure customers are fit to skydive. Please advise if you are taking prescription medication
- Weight Surcharge:
- 94kg - 104.9kg: $50 to pay on arrival (94kg and above requires an on site assessment to determine safety issues due to harness size restrictions)
- 105kg to 110kg: $75 to pay on arrival
- Maximum weight for this dropzone is 110kg
Terms And Conditions
- Risk Warning: Your participation in parachuting activities is inherently dangerous and may involve risks. These risks include, but are not limited to those arising from prevailing conditions such as weather or health conditions you may have. Despite careful packing, the parachute may open abruptly or not open correctly which may result in injury. Unintended incidents may occur during the aircraft flight, descent or on landing.
- Parachuting is done at the parachutists' own risk. Any person parachuting, training to parachute, flying in any aircraft being used for parachuting or participating in any activity carried out by Skydive Australia may only do so on the distinct understanding that they do so entirely at their own risk.
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

- The activity provider MUST be contacted prior to travel to confirm exact skydive time and pick up if required
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the tour
- For your information, complete Tour Operator Information including contact details is included on your tour voucher
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! - Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this experience
