What you can expect
Experience the magic of the Great Barrier Reef from above, with an exhilarating helicopter flight over picturesque reef systems and up close on board luxury vessel, Evolution. Be treated to an Aussie BBQ lunch and snorkelling to discover the mysteries of the underwater world. Activities available on board at an extra cost include scuba diving (for beginners and experienced divers) and coral viewing from the semi-submersible.

- Comfortable clothing suitable to the weather of the day
- Sunglasses, hat, towel, sun block, camera, swimming costume
- Cash or credit card for souvenirs or optional activities
- All passenger weights must be advised at time of booking
- All passengers will be weighed before flight to confirm weights
- Children are defined as being aged between 3-13 years
- Introductory dive minimum age of 12 years
- One (1) infant under their 3rd birthday may travel free of charge if seated on a guardian’s lap
- A maximum of one infant per helicopter may travel as per CASA regulations
- Nautilus Aviation operate a fleet of helicopters with individual specifications. The maximum single seat payload is 130KG. For passengers exceeding 130KG, aircraft seating four or more (4+) passengers are required for private charters and for listed tours and packages, an additional seat at 50% of ticket price may need to be purchased for passenger comfort and aircraft weight and balance
- We recommend you are checked in 45 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time at Pier Heliport for Fly / Cruise product
- Check-in will close 30 minutes before departure and you will not be able to check in after this time
- When planning your arrival at your departure point please ensure you allow enough time to check in
- Failure to adhere to check-in times, may result in you missing your flight and forfeiting the fare paid
- Flight cancellations and or amendments require a minimum notification of 48 hours prior to departure
- Cancellation notice of 48hours is required for a full refund claim and 24-48 hours, for a 50% refund claim.
- Any flight amendments made inside 48 hours with incur a 50% penalty. No amendments accepted inside 24 hours prior to departure.
- No refund applies if booking is cancelled inside 24 hours.
- In the event of passenger illness, with medical certificate, Nautilus Aviation will reschedule the flight.
- When payment is made via credit card, the processing fee from the original transaction will not be returned in the case of a refund.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- For your information, complete Tour Operator Information including contact details is included on your tour voucher
- Availability was accurate at the time of booking however, is subject to change due to circumstances out of our control. We strongly suggest reconfirming your booking with the tour operator within 24 hours of making your booking and prior to making other travel arrangements

Tour was fully booked. Struggling to get a refund!
Booked the tour on Experience Oz and received tour tickets by email on 28/02. Contacted some time after to say that the tour was booked out. I have attempted to contact Experience Oz by email numerous times but we have still not received information about a refund. Completely misleading website which was not updated on time.

Great experience with both the Reef Dive & Helicopter Ride.
It was from Down under the Cruise & Dive company. Had been to 3 snorkelling & 1 Scuba Dive. Cruise crew were great & explaining the details. Cruise was spacious & helicopter ride was excellent to having the magnificant view of Great Barrier Reef. Vegetarian food option can be improved.

Ok day but bad weather and cancellation of helicopter
It was not the best day for the weather but could not be helped. The second stop was the best coral experience and fish varieties. Unfortunately, we also booked the helicopter tour but was cancelled due to the visibility. Would have been nice to be asked if wanted to pay extra and get flown back instead of the rough trip back but he just left. The food was awesome though and all the crew were fantastic. Never trust Cairns weather lol, as booked the night before as it was meant to be fine but was the total opposite. Would definitely recommend it on a clear day.
