Stunning and epic day! Will do again, it was great snorkelling.
Such a lovely day. Snorkelling was great, awesome coral, spotted an octopus. I really enjoyed the snorkel tour too and we saw lots of bigger fish on the snorkel tour and quite a few turtles. I didn’t get seasick either was calm. Highly recommend for a great day out.

Beautiful island, lunch was fantastic, weather was not but even with wet weather it was still a great day. The pre-tour of what to bring was appreciated as I would not have taken a jacket and would have been freezing (hard to believe I know), really enjoyed the island walk and all the information and I’m a Cairns local so I’m sure ‘proper’ tourists will have enjoyed it. Thank you for a great day.

Begin with a scenic 30-minute cruise along the Mulgrave River before arriving amidst this pristine island paradise.
Once ashore, snorkel from the beach to explore the stunning coral, tropical fish, and giant turtles. Then, cruise around Normanby Island and marvel at the vibrant coral reef flora and fauna from the comfort of a semi-submersible vessel.

- Check-in commences at 8.15am (or earlier from your accommodation) at Frankland Island Cruises Vessel, Deeral
- Jetty is located approximately 45 minutes from Cairns CBD
- Maximum capacity is 100 passengers
- Vessel capacity is 46 passengers
- Only Introductory Diving will be available, not currently offering Certified Diving on Frankland Islands
- Introductory diving is an additional cost.
- Due to the activity timings of the day, if you are taking part in an Intro Dive you may miss one of the other island activities (i.e. the Guided Island Walk). Please speak to our team in the morning if there are any activities you want to take part in, so they can assign you the best Intro Dive time slot for the day. Due to the limited number of Intro Dive slots per day (6 total per trip), no refunds will be provided for pre-booked Intro Dive experiences. Failing the medical clearance or change of mind will not be valid reasons for refunds of the Intro Dive cost

- Bookings may be cancelled, or dates changed up to 48 hours prior to departure with no cancellation or change fee (subject to seat availability).
- After this time, cancellation or failure to board will incur 100% cancellation fee.
- Introductory Dive Cancellation Policy is a 100% cancellation fee for any cancellations that are not due to operational decisions (i.e. weather disruptions).
- No refund will be provided for pre-booked Intro Dive experiences for failed medical clearance or changes of mind.
- Group Cancellation Policy applies to bookings of 15 or more people.
- Group cancellations within 30 days and more than 7 days’ notice incur a 20% cancellation fee.
- Group cancellations within 7 days incur a 100% cancellation fee. .
- If the itinerary is changed or the tour is cancelled after departure due to circumstances beyond our control, we shall not be required to refund any portion of the fare, make any compensation or be liable for any other consequential damage, loss, expense, loss of time or inconvenience. We recommend all guests take out adequate insurance for their intended travel.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking

Today we had the pleasure of going on a tour with Frankland Islands Reef Cruises on the stunning Normanby Island. From start to finish, it was an absolutely incredible experience. Booking the tour was a breeze; their website was user-friendly, and their customer service was top-notch. The whole crew were absolute delights and put in a lot of hard work and effort to create a magnificent day for us, rain and shine! Their passion for the islands and reefs gifted us a wonderful experience. The indigenous and marine life knowledge was infectious and made the trip even more enjoyable. Every moment felt like a captivating adventure, particularly the boat transfers. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned. Travel was safe, comfortable and timely. The small group size ensured a more personalised experience, and we never felt rushed. I adored seeing clownfish, octopus, sting rays, a sea turtle and an eagle. Overall, the Frankland Islands tour exceeded any expectations. I can't recommend it enough 🫶
