Discover the waterways of Trinity Inlet on a full day estuary fishing charter in Cairns, exploring the creeks, mudflats, deep channels and drop offs of a protected State Marine Park. Meeting your experienced fishing guide at the marina, you will start the day casting a net for live bait before heading up into the estuary in search of a catch. With more than 100 kilometres of waterways to explore, your guide chooses the best spots on the day based on the prevailing weather and tides, working the snags and deep holes where the fish gather.
Cast a line for Fingermark, Mangrove Jack, Estuary Cod, Bream, Giant Mudcrab and the prized Barramundi, with the mix of species changing through the seasons. All bait, tackle and quality rods and reels are provided, along with cooled bottled water, so you can settle in and focus on the fishing. Perfect for keen anglers and curious first timers alike, this is a relaxed and rewarding day out on some of tropical Queensland's richest fishing grounds.
