Fully immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring wonders of the Great Barrier Reef with a guided half-day snorkelling tour. Experience the adventure of snorkelling and sailing over the iconic waters. From the moment guests step aboard, a highly trained and knowledgeable crew will ensure everyone has an exceptional day.
Embark on a 90-minute voyage to the Great Barrier Reef, during which guests will receive a full briefing from the crew on activities for the day and will be welcomed to enjoy a complimentary morning tea with coffee and fruit. With up to two hours of snorkelling on the reef, the captain will select the most favourable site with the best conditions for snorkelling, nestled within the outer Great Barrier Reef. Suit up with the provided professional wetsuits, masks, snorkels, and fins, and hop right on in! Whether you’re a seasoned snorkeller or a beginner, guides will be there to assist every step of the way. They will point out the best spots to explore and help identify the vibrant marine life surrounding guests.

- 8.40am – Check-in at A Finger, Cairns Marina
- 9am – Depart for the outer reef with a full briefing from the crew on the activities and options for the day
- 10.30am – Two hours snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef
- 12.30pm –Lunchtime break
- 2pm – Return back to the Carins Marlin Marina
- Introductory diving equipment can be pre-purchased, please contact the experience provider directly in advance

- Available five days a week from Thursday to Monday
- The only departure time available is at 8.40am
- This experience is a half-day tour
- The snorkel portion is two hours in duration
- This experience departs from A Finger, Cairns Marlin Marina, at 1 Spence St, Cairns QLD 4870.
- Can guests snorkel if they have a medical condition?
- Guests will be asked to fill out an assessment form before snorkelling to determine individual risk. If indicated, guests may be required to wear a flotation device while snorkelling.
- Do guests need special insurance?
- Guests are encouraged to have travel insurance to cover trip cancellations due to illness, poor weather, travel delays, lost luggage and legal costs. Contact the experience provider directly for information on dive insurance.
- Do gusts need to be able to swim?
- Guests should be comfortable in the water and will inform the crew of their swimming capabilities. Inexperienced swimmers may be required to use a flotation device
- Any required medication (Puffer, EpiPen)
- Swimwear for under wetsuits
- Dry clothes for after the tour
- Snacks and food for lunch

- In the event of rain or inclement weather, your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider
- English is the main language used during the tour; if needed, a staff translator can be arranged, please contact the experience provider directly in advance
- All participants are expected to comply with posted signage, directions from the tour crew and the vessel captain
- The experience provider is not responsible for damage or loss of personal items
- Some medical conditions can pose a hazard during diving; it is recommended that a physician evaluate individuals with these conditions
- The experience provider reserves the right to alter the tour itinerary in the event of a medical, weather or safety concerns

- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
