Board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway at noon and enjoy breathtaking views as you soar over the World Heritage-listed rainforest until you reach Freshwater Station. There, you will transfer to the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway with pre-allocated seating to get the perfect spot. This train journey towards Kuranda Village offers gorgeous sights of the lush mountain. Once in the village, you’ll have abundant free time to explore the lively markets or visit attractions like Birdworld, Kuranda Koala Gardens or the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary (at your own expense).
On your return trip, take the Cableway for more sensational views and visit spectacular lookouts on the way down. Stop by Red Peak and Barron Falls Stations to see more pockets of natural wonders and visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre or take a guided boardwalk tour offered at Red Peak throughout the day.
