A Great Day Out on the reef !
We took a trip out to the reef on our holiday . Two years ago we went with Silver Swift and it was the best outer reef trip we’d ever experienced. This trip was just as good even though the weather wasn’t the best , there was a bit of wind which made the ocean bumpy. The clouds came over and the wind made it cold. But the staff were very positive and helpful throughout the day. The endless cuppas kept us warm after the three swims. The lunch was amazing too. We’ll use this company again !

What you can expect
Set sail for the best of the Great Barrier Reef on this tour from Cairns! This wonderful cruise package includes a return, air-conditioned luxury catamaran cruise that departs daily from Cairns then heads out for a day of marine adventure activities on the stunning Great Barrier Reef. Once the tour operator's hand-picked section of the reef (one of the most scenic in the region) is reached, you'll be able to enjoy a multitude of activities including as much snorkelling as your heart desires.
While on the water you can also embark on a guided snorkel tour with a qualified reef guide who will take you to explore the amazing coral formations and underwater gardens that are filled with vibrant aquatic life.
This cruise will visit a number of impressive sites that are perfect for snorkelling on the surface and diving into the depths with a certified scuba dive. The reefs on the agenda include Pellowe, Flynn, Milln and/or Thetford Reefs, each bursting with diverse beauty that is set to amaze. In addition to the included snorkelling guests have the option of purchasing a certified scuba dive expedition or you can learn to dive with their introductory scuba dive.
If you require a break from the aquatic adventures, on board the vessel you will be able to enjoy a delicious hot and cold buffet lunch to recharge your energy and satisfy your palate, soak up some sunshine on the spacious sun deck areas, enjoy hot freshwater showers and a licensed bar for drinks. Hotel transfers aren't included in this package however they can be added as an extra. Travel in comfort and style while enjoying one of the Wonders of the Natural World.

You’ll receive both a text message and an email prompting you to complete your check-in. On the day of travel, please present your digital boarding pass at the Silverswift vessel, located at the Marlin Marina, next to the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal, 1 Spence Street, Cairns QLD 4870.

- Diving and snorkelling: Medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from in-water activities. The minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years
- Certified divers must present proof of certification

Awesome experience on the Great Barrier Reef for the day, experience 3 reefs, had the opportunity to scuba dive for the first time and do some snorkelling of the reef, definitely one of the greatest experiences we have ever experienced, crew was amazing and helpful.
