Pro Dive Cairns 5 day PADI “Open Water” course combines the adventure of learning to scuba dive with the excitement of exploring the spectacular beauty of the Great Barrier Reef.

Exclusions
- $95 levy per person to be paid on board to the operator until March 31st 2026, and $100 levy per person to be paid on board to the operator from April 1st 2026.
- Fuel Surcharge: Due to significant volatility in fuel supply and operational costs, a surcharge will apply and be collected at check-in on the day of travel (Per person - $25 AUD).
Itinerary
- DAY 1 Cairns to Great Barrier Reef • 7:00am. Depart Cairns. Enjoy a light breakfast onboard as your Pro Dive Cairns “ScubaPro” vessel cruises to the Great Barrier Reef. • Enjoy 3 dives during the day at a selection of 16 Outer Reef sites. Your first dive (11:30am) is offered as a guided dive with an instructor. After dinner, it’s time for a night dive.
- DAY 2 Great Barrier Reef • After an early morning dive enjoy a hearty breakfast before moving on to the second dive site of the day. Today you can enjoy 3 dives, followed by dinner and another night dive.
- DAY 3 Great Barrier Reef to Cairns • Early morning dive followed by breakfast. Two more dives before lunch. • In the afternoon sail back to Cairns. Complimentary transfers to Cairns & Northern Beaches accommodation at 4:00pm.
Time
- For participants with no pickup/drop off, please make your own way to/from Pro Drive Cairns Training Center at 6:20 AM.
Duration
- 3 Days 2 Nights.
Hotel Pickup
- Pro Dive Cairns provides complimentary hotel/hostel transfers within Cairns City.
- Northern Beaches transfers (up to Palm Cove) are available for an additional fee.
- We do not pick up from private addresses or AirBnbs but can collect passengers from the nearest hotel/hostel or designated pick-up point
- Please note we do not pick up from the airport
Additional Information
- We recommend that you not fly within 24 hours of your final dive. Your final scheduled dive of the 3-day trip will be completed by 12.00pm.
- Prior to commencing your dive course you are required to complete the self-assessment Student Diver Medical Declaration. A positive response to any questions indicates there is a pre-existing condition which may affect your safety while diving and you must consult a medical practitioner, preferably with experience in diving medicine, to obtain a dive medical certificate that states you are medically fit to dive.
- Number of Pax on the day: 32 passengers and 6 crew.
- Weather: The number of dives may vary subject to weather and/or other unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellation Policy
- You can cancel your dive trip for any reason at any time up to 48 hours before commencement and receive a full refund. There is no refund for any reason after this time.
- No Shows: Will be charged 100%.

- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
