What you need to know
- Grade 5 white water rafting on the Kaituna River
- Three big waterfalls, including the seven-metre Tutea Falls
- World class safety equipment provided - wetsuit, booties, helmet, buoyancy aids
- Maori cultural learning throughout the tour
- Experienced guides providing safety instructions and guidance throughout
- This experience is approximately 2 hours in duration (including 1 hour on the river)
- Available daily, excluding Christmas Day
- Summer - 9am, 10.30am, 12pm, 1.30pm and 3pm
- Winter (May-Oct) - 10am, 12pm and 2pm
- This experience departs from 761 State Highway 33, Okere Falls
- Transfers available from Central Rotorua for an additional $15 per person
- Bring your swimwear and a towel
- Minimum age for full trip is 13yrs (Full trip = Grade 5)
- All safety and rafting equipment is provided, including wetsuits, booties, helmet, buoyancy aids and a world class guide
- Minimum of 2 places required to confirm the trip departure
- Shuttle transfers depart from Rotorua approx 40 minutes before the trip time
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
