Whether you're looking to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding landscapes or simply want to indulge in some well-deserved pampering, Tekapo Springs hot pools are the perfect oasis.
At Tekapo Springs, you will find a range of hot pools that vary in temperature from 36.5 to 38.5 degrees Celsius. Discover the Ohau, Pukaki and Tekapo pools, each measuring 40 square metres and named after iconic lakes in the Mackenzie Region. Some of the additional relaxation features you might discover are water curtains in the Ohau pool, massage jets in Pukaki and the adults-only Tekapo pool space.

- Hot pools with temperatures ranging from 36.5° C to 38.5° C
- Cooler pools and Aqua Play Area with temperatures ranging from 28° C to 32° C
- Locker, swimwear & a towel (available to hire for an additional cost on the day)
- This experience is available from 11am - 7pm weekdays and 10am - 7pm weekends
- Tekapo Springs is a 3 hour drive from Christchurch or 3 hours from Queenstown or just over an hour from Timaru
- This experience is located at 300 Lake Side Drive, Lake Tekapo (off State Highway 8). Drive alongside the lake and past the camping ground
- Please make your own way to Tekapo Springs located at 6 Lakeside Drive. Please meet at our Tekapo Springs reception 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour
- Child rate applies to 6-15 yrs old (if you have younger children, please join the earliest tour available)
- A pool wheelchair is available on request
- The hot pools portion takes place regardless of the weather
- Please make your own way to Tekapo Springs located at 6 Lakeside Drive. Please meet at our Tekapo Springs reception 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour
- Child rate applies to 6-15 yrs old (if you have younger children, please join the earliest tour available)
- A pool wheelchair is available on request
- The hot pools portion takes place regardless of the weather
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
