Excellent staff! This was our 4th time on this boat as it’s that good! The staff don’t try to over sell things. They just love sharing their culture and environment from their hearts. My son who is now nine was supported educated and cared for by all staff,

Cultural experience on the boat out and back from reef. Staff talked about their history, beliefs and personal experiences surrounding the GBR. Nothing was rushed, stopping the boat to look at whales and dolphins, also allowing the kids on the upper deck to view this experience. The reef was amazing! No man made pontoons, just jump in straight off the boat. The marine biologists engaged with visitors showing sea cucumbers and demonstrating their importance when researching the impacts of thorny starfish on the reef. The captain not only drove the boat. He came out and did talks with everyone and engaged politely and positively with his staff. At the end as we left the boat, all staff thanked each guest while the cultural staff played instruments farewelling us through song. 10/10 nothing is better No need to try and upsell No marketing Why? Because it’s not needed. They are the best

Friendly staff and plenty of time in water for activities

Friendly staff and plenty of time in water for activities - all gears for snorkelling were provided, staffs were constantly checking on us if we are ok - as we are not good swimmers and first time snorkeler we needed some help, and we got what we needed throughout the whole trip. Thank you to all the crew for that.

What you can expect

Experience one of the great natural wonders of the world on this Great Barrier Reef cruise from Cairns. Enjoy 5 hours on the Outer Great Barrier Reef visiting two premium coral reef locations in one day with Indigenous sea rangers. Unlike other Great Barrier Reef cruises, this is the only Cairns' reef tour that includes a cultural experience with Dreamtime stories and traditional dance and didgeridoo performances while out on the reef.

After an Indigenous welcome aboard, passengers will have ample time to snorkel Moore Reef and Milln Reef for an incredible encounter with colourful marine life and coral reef gardens on the Outer Barrier Reef. This Great Barrier Reef cruise includes all your snorkel equipment and wet suit hire, a complimentary morning tea, afternoon tea and buffet lunch plus some fascinating talks by marine biologists.

Great Barrier Reef cruises are the best way to experience multiple coral reef sites in one day. This cruise departs Cairns daily from the Reef Fleet Terminal at 8 am and returns at 4.30 pm and is sure to be a highlight of your stay in Far North Queensland.

Dreamtime cruise to Barrier Reef with indigenous rangers

This cruise is excellent value for money. The food was restaurant quality and delicious. The staff were super friendly very helpful and efficient. Their safety presentations and instructions were very helpful and kept us all safe as the weather was a bit choppy. I will never forget the beautiful amazing reefs we visited! 🤩👏
