What you can expect
Set off from Cairns and cruise in comfort aboard an air-conditioned catamaran to the Moore Reef Pontoon, located on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. This floating playground is packed with fun, you can snorkel the vibrant coral gardens, slide down the 30-metre spiral waterslide, and spot marine life from the glass-bottom boat. You will have 2.5 hrs to explore the reef your own way.
Next up is the natural paradise of Fitzroy Island, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits you. After the meal, it's time to stroll across the island's dreamy beaches and rainforest-covered hills at your own pace. Whether you're after adventure or relaxation, this tour delivers the best of both worlds in one unforgettable day.

What you need to know
- Two hours and 30 minutes at Moore Reef
- At the reef, enjoy glass bottom boat, semi submersible, waterslide, underwater observatory, ocean enclosed kids wading pool, sun deck and buffet lunch. All snorkel gear is included at Moore Reef
- Two hours and 30 minutes on Fitzroy Island
- At the island, you have a buffet lunch included and access to beaches and nature walks
- At Moore Reef pontoon, there are extra activities such as Intro SCUBA Diving, Guided Snorkel Tour, Helicopter flighs, as well as camera hire and snacks/drinks at the bar that are additional charge. At Fitzroy Island, there are activities such as Guided Rainforest Walk, Turtle Talk, Kayak Tour, hire of snorkel gear, and on island food and beverage purchase that are additional charge. Hotel pickups are not included.

Great to do half day each on the reef and the island.
Great day out. Couple of things to remember; Check in at the tour center before walking out to the boat. You need to pay your fuel excise and get the ticket. Bring your reef shoes, a benefit when you get to the island. The company only supplies snorkel gear at the pontoon, so maybe bring your own if you want to snorkel at the island. Lunch was plentiful and delicious. Well organised A great day on the outer reef. Recommend.

Amazing experience
Crew, boat and experiences were absolutely amazing. Was such a great day trip, the snorkelling was so fun, Fitzroy island was beautiful and the crew was so friendly.
