After boarding one of Volcanic Air's state-of-the-art floatplanes on Lake Rotorua, you will start your ascent above the stunning landscapes that make this New Zealand region so unique. Marvel at the geothermal activity, native forests and magnificent lakes from the comfort of your window seat.
One of the highlights of this Rotorua scenic flight experience is the flyover of White Island, New Zealand's most active offshore volcano. Witness incredible views of the distinctively green and steaming crater lake on the island, with plenty of opportunities to capture photos from above.

- A full safety briefing as well as safety equipment will be provided at the Volcanic Air Base. All passengers will be required to be weighed in order to ensure proper weight distribution in the aircraft.

- Tour duration, flight times and inclusions may vary due to weather conditions, volcanic activity and passenger loadings. Excursion landings are undertaken at passengers' own risk and such landings are at your pilot's sole discretion.
- We recommend warm clothing and enclosed footwear to ensure you achieve the best experience.
- As per New Zealand law, Volcanic Air requires individual weights at the time of booking. If an individual passenger weight exceeds 110kgs a surcharge may apply. Any passenger exceeding 135kgs as weighted by Volcanic Air will be required to may two adult fares.

- If the tour is cancelled due to adverse weather or due to circumstances beyond Volcanic Air control, Volcanic Air will reschedule clients on the earliest convenient flight available or a full refund will apply
- Should cancellation occur within 30 days of the date of travel a 25% cancellation fee will apply
- If cancellation occurs within 7 days of the date of travel a 75% cancellation fee will apply
- If cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the date of travel a 100% cancellation fee will apply
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
